Gaia lived deep in the dark and wept tears
Tears became rain that covered the ground
Ground made Brother and sister of mud
Mud children, beetles, birds, sowed seeds and made stars
No one was watching, or writing it down
Stars dimmed behind clouds, behind clouds, was an eye
Eye, was the sun growing one small tree
Tree spread roots, branches reached back to sky
Sky breathed all weathers, thunder and lightening
No one was watching, or writing it down
Lightening made fire a weapon of men
Men made metal, fortresses of stone
Stone broke to pieces so women made shelter
Shelter grew children who welcomed all creatures
No one was watching or writing it down
Creatures made soil and grasses and food
Food became power and power sowed pain
Pain passed through Mothers, through Fathers, to children
Children grew gardens, left footsteps, kept walking
No one was watching or writing it down
Gaia still weeps while her children are sleeping
